Jones is the first member of Iowa's Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line to be selected in the draft.

When the discussions for the best center in college football came up, it didn't take long to gravitate toward the answer - Logan Jones.

The accolades speak for themselves. 2025 Rimington Trophy winner (best center in the country), consensus All-American, Outland Trophy finalist.

Jones will have a chance to add more trophies to his trophy case in the NFL, where he was selected with the 57th overall pick in the second round by the Chicago Bears in the 2026 NFL Draft. He's the first Hawkeye to be selected in this year's draft.

Like Dunker, Jones could've heard his name called in the 2025 NFL Draft, but he opted to return to Iowa for his sixth year of college football. It's safe to say that decision was a good one, as he and the Hawkeyes earned the Joe Moore Award as the nation's top offensive line.

Learning behind now-Las Vegas Raiders center Tyler Linderbaum at Iowa certainly helped prepare Jones for the NFL, and now he gets his time to shine.
