Check out this guide if you're looking to place some bets on the Cy-Hawk Game and other Week 2 matchups.
It's Friday, which means the 2026 Cy-Hawk Game is just one day away.
Iowa and Iowa State fans probably wish the game would take place tonight, because the buzz in this state has been palpable. The trash talk on social media and "hate week" banners on both campuses will always be present in this rivalry, but at the end of the day, there's unity in the state because of this game.
The Hawkeyes seek their first victory in this series since 2023 (or 2021 if you don't count the vacated win), but the new-look Cyclones are desperate to gain a signature victory under head coach Jimmy Rogers.
You've already read all of HawkeyeRoundtable's in-depth coverage of the contest, so the only thing left to do is continue prediction Friday. You've already read our game prediction, so now it's time to turn our attention to the books.
Our betting prediction for the Cy-Hawk Game will be released tomorrow, but while you wait for that, check out our Week 2 college football betting guide.

Iowa State (1-0) @ No. 21 Iowa (1-0)
Line: Iowa -14
Total: 40.5
Moneyline: Iowa -650, Iowa State +470
This feels like the correct line on paper. Iowa is still figuring things out at key positions, but it has the luxury of having an established coaching staff. Iowa State may end up being better than people expect this year, but there's just simply too much unknown (playing at Kinnick at night is a big factor, too) with this Cyclone team right now for oddsmakers to set this line anywhere but two touchdowns.
Friday
No. 23 Missouri (1-0) @ Kansas (1-0)
Line: Missouri -5.5, Total: 50.5
Saturday
No. 11 Oklahoma (1-0) @ Michigan (1-0)
Line: Oklahoma -5.5, Total: 43.5
No. 6 Oregon (1-0) @ Oklahoma State (1-0)
Line: Oregon -23.5, Total: 57.5
Arizona State (1-0) @ No. 10 Texas A&M (1-0)
Line: Texas A&M -14.5, Total: 50.5
Arizona (1-0) @ No. 15 BYU (1-0)
Line: BYU -7.5, Total: 47.5
No. 18 Tennessee (1-0) @ Georgia Tech (0-1)
Line: Tennessee -12.5, Total: 55.5
No. 1 Ohio State (1-0) @ No. 4 Texas (1-0)
Line: Texas -1.5, Total: 49.5
Arkansas (1-0) @ No. 20 Utah (1-0)
Line: Utah -12.5, Total: 54.5
Looking at the rest of the slate, there's a few things that jump out to me. The first one here has to be the Tennessee-Georgia Tech contest in Atlanta. While the Yellow Jackets were stunned by Colorado at home last week, seeing the Volunteers as a 12.5-point favorite on the road in tough environment is a bit of a surprise. Picking Tennessee to win the game isn't a bad play, but you may want to take Georgia Tech to cover at home.
How will Michigan respond from its disastrous win over Western Michigan? The Wolverines will have home field advantage against a good Oklahoma team, but it's hard to see this team clicking on on cylinders after last week's fiasco.
