Titus Huard, the son of former NFL quarterback Brock Huard, was among the potential Kansas State Wildcats recruits on hand for Saturday's win against the Washington State Cougars

The Kansas State Wildcats have gotten off to a strong start in the first year of the Collin Klein era.

They have won the first two games by a combined score of 105-10, with victories against the Nicholls Cowboys and Washington State Cougars. What made the win even more special against the Cougars was the amount of high-profile recruits in attendance at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

The prize of the group was four-star quarterback recruit Titus Huard, who is rated the 11th-best player in the country at his position. He is also the son of former NFL Brock Huard, whose professional career spanned from 1999-2004 with the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks.

The younger Huard, who plays at Valor (Colo.) Christian, is a member of the 2028 recruiting class. He already has offers from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Arizona State Wildcats, Kansas Jayhawks and Colorado Buffaloes.

Huard has thrown for 784 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Last year he threw for 1,946 yards and 16 touchdowns. Aside from his lineage, scouts love his size. He is 6-foot-5 and 206 pounds.

The Wildcats are in need of a top quarterback because they face the possibility of losing three-year starter Avery Johnson at the end of the season. He does, however, have the option of pursuing a fifth year of eligibility because of new NCAA rules.

Here are some other recruits who were in attendance Saturday:

Wide receiver Grant Nehls

A member of the 2028 class, he is a physically-gifted player at his position. He stands 6-foot-5 at Marian High School in Hays, Kan. He's also a standout baseball player.

Quarterback Brady Lawhon

In three games, he has already thrown for 824 yards and eight touchdowns with no interceptions at Harrison High School in Ohio. He is a member of the 2027 recruiting class.

Tight end/linebacker Jeremiah Roberson

He is a member of the 2028 class and excels on both sides of the ball. He stars at Olathe East (Kan.) High School.

Offensive lineman/defensive lineman Cash Beyrle

He's class of 2029 but the Wildcats are getting an early start on him. He's only going to get better at Andale (Kan.) High School.
