Another former Kansas State player is officially gone.
Freshman guard Exavier Wilson, a three-star from Father Tolton High School in Columbia, MO, officially committed to Akron on Thursday. He entered the portal on Apr. 4, as the Jerome Tang recruit had no playing time last season. He also had offers from West Virginia, FIU, and Missouri State.
"Exavier is about winning and wanting to compete at the highest level," Akron coach Dustin Ford said about him upon his commitment. "He comes from a basketball family where his dad was a coach. And like most coaches' kids, he has a level of toughness that we want in our program."
