On a day when Kansas State's first 2027 class commit officially flipped to Kansas (Nazir Pitchford), many are solidifying their choices in Manhattan, KS.
Defensive tackle Dawayne Jones is one of them. Jones decommitted from the program on Apr. 18 but officially anchored his spot a few days later. And now he's made it clear that his heart is set on Kansas State.
Jones is listed as a three-star recruit on some outlets, but many have bumped him up to four stars. He currently attends Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, OK. He is the younger brother of former Wildcats defensive back Wayne Jones.
