Add another prospect to the books. After a relatively quiet season in the football world, Kansas State is starting to make noise again with its additions over the past week.

The latest was three-star tight end Owen Harrington, who committed to the team on Saturday. Harrington attended Foothill College C.C. last season, recording 14 receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown.

Harrington is from San Jose, CA, graduating from Archbishop Mitty High School in 2025, where he also played linebacker. He also had interest from Kennesaw State and Central Michigan.

The Wildcats are pretty set at tight end with Garrett Oakley and five-star Linkon Cure, but depth is always essential. Oakley led the team in touchdowns last season, and Cure is projected to have a bigger role in the offense with Collin Klein running the plays.

Here are the other recent additions the program has made (by class):

2026: Elijah Jackson, Defensive Tackle

The Wildcats acquired Jackson from Hutchinson C.C., where he recorded 13 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and half a sack last season. He also had offers from West Georgia, Florida A&M, and North Carolina A&T. Jackson is from Williston, FL, graduating from Williston Middle High School in 2024. Jackson previously committed to Charlotte but was released on Wednesday.

2027: David Rushing, Wide Receiver

Rushing is a three-star prospect from Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, AZ. He received offers from Utah, Oklahoma State, and East Carolina, but ultimately picked Manhattan, KS, as his new home. He had 34 receptions for 589 yards and six touchdowns last season.

2027: Ben Hynek, Tight End

The Wildcats may have struck gold with Hynek, a four-star product from Stanley High School in Stanley, ND. This is a huge addition for the team, acquiring not only their first offensive weapon but a highly ranked prospect. With veteran tight end Garrett Oakley having one year of eligibility, the Wildcats want to start providing some depth at the position.

2027: Giacamo SanFilippo, Linebacker

SanFilippo, a three-star linebacker from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, FL, officially committed to the Wildcats on Sunday. He also had offers from Louisville, Illinois, and Coastal Carolina. Last season, SanFilippo had 57 total tackles, eight of which were for losses, 3.5 sacks, and two pass deflections.
