Latest Addition: Nash Stark, Forward
HIGH SCHOOL: Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN)
2025-26 STATS:
QUOTABLE: N/A
Stark was offered a walk-on position at Belmont, connecting him with coach Casey Alexander before this commitment. While Alexander said the program isn't scrapping for any more roster additions, it's good that they continue to build depth and ensure they have options after losing the entire roster from last season (outside Andrej Kostic). Alexander wants to regroup as many familiar faces as possible to establish some chemistry and execute his vision.
Jaylen Alexander, Guard
HIGH SCHOOL: Oxford (Oxford, AL)
2025-26 STATS: 17.6 PTS, 5.4 REB, 4.4 AST, 2.3 STL
QUOTABLE: "Jaylen is a dynamic point guard with the size and skill to make an impact on both ends," coach Alexander said about the Oxford product. "He's a playmaker and a leader, two valuable characteristics of a lead guard."
Alexander was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Alabama, leading his team to a 30-4 record and a Class 6A state championship. He also had offers from Auburn, Jacksonville State, and UAB.
With PJ Haggerty, Nate Johnson, and Abdi Bashir Jr. out, Alexander will be a great backcourt addition who needs to regroup. Kansas State is back to the drawing board for the third consecutive year, bringing in guards like Jaden Schutt and Montana Wheeler to anchor the main spots. Alexander's two-way playmaking will be essential for a team needing more players who can compete on both ends of the court.
Devin Hutcherson, Wing
HIGH SCHOOL: Holy Innocents Episcopal School (Atlanta, GA)
2025-26 STATS: 19.8 PTS, 8.3 REB, 2.5 AST, 1.2 STL
QUOTABLE: "Devin brings a level of athleticism and explosiveness that will be impactful," Alexander said upon his commitment to Belmont. "Physically and athletically, he's ready-made for conference play."
Hutcherson is coming off a career year in his high school tenure, and now joins a Wildcats squad that struggled with its frontcourt last season. The lack of forwards was a huge detriment last year, as Kansas State kept losing rotational players due to injury. An already-small frontcourt only worsened as the season progressed. Originally a Belmont recruit, Hutcherson flipped his commitment to the Wildcats to follow Alexander.
