It hasn't been the most explosive start in the transfer portal for Kansas State. Multiple star losses in coach Casey Alexander's transition, and not many additions yet.
However, the program finally added a couple of players on Saturday.
Brandon Rechsteiner is a junior guard from Colorado State and the son of WWE legend Scott "Steiner" Rechsteiner. He averaged 12 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists last season. Rechsteiner had a career season in production, ascending in every statistical category, including shooting 40 percent from 3-point range.
The program also added Dezdrick Lindsay, a redshirt junior forward who played at Oregon. He averaged 5.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists this past season, starting in eight games for the Ducks.
The two join sophomore forward Brock Vice as the only Kansas State additions. Here are all the Wildcats' portal moves thus far:

Vice didn't get a lot of playing time last season, but he could serve as solid frontcourt depth for the Wildcats. Their forwards were depleted last season, as Khamari McGriff, Mobi Ikegwuruka, and Elias Rapieque barely stayed on the court consistently, let alone together.

Buca was a fan favorite among the Wildcats faithful. His offensive presence created great plays on the perimeter and some highlight dunks on his own. On the defensive side, his size was perfect for protecting the paint and blocking shots. Buca's numbers didn't jump off the stat sheet, but were impressive for the amount of time he played.
