As Kansas State football hits the dead part of the college football year, the program has started thinking about the future with a plethora of offers to potential recruits.

The Wildcats have graced a ton of prospects over the past week for their 2028 class, including a few four-stars for fans to keep their eyes on. The latest was running back Jayshawn Mitchell, who currently attends Brennan High School in San Antonio, TX. Last season, he rushed 31 times for 255 yards and two touchdowns, while logging 26 receptions for 474 yards and eight touchdowns.

Mitchell's pass-catching ability as a running back will catch many eyes as he transitions to the collegiate level in a few years. Kansas State likes to utilize backs in the receiving game, so his dual ability will definitely complement a Collin Klein-style offense.

Here are a few of the other recent major offers the program has made:

Cayden Lancelin, Athlete

Cayden Lancelin is a four-star athlete who primarily plays wide receiver and free safety. He currently attends Westgate High School in New Iberia, LA, the same school as another recent Wildcats offeree. Wide receiver would be an ideal position target for Kansas State, given that most of the projected stars in the current corps are upperclassmen. We'll see how the receivers shape up this year and in 2027, but it's an optimal focus anyway with the Wildcats ushering in a new quarterback next season.

Nash Henry, Quarterback

Quarterbacks coach Christian Ellsworth and the program have offered four-star quarterback Nash Henry, a 2028 class prospect from Norman, OK. He attends Norman North High School. The Wildcats are actually the first major school to extend him an offer, but he is still interested in institutions like Oklahoma, California, and Northwestern. Last season, Henry had 3,221 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions, while rushing 19 times for 79 yards.

Chance Archangel, Edge Rusher

The Wildcats offered four-star edge rusher Chance Archangel on Monday. He currently attends Westgate High School in New Iberia, LA. The Wildcats are up against some stiff competition, though, as the defensive end also received offers from schools like Houston, Texas, LSU, and Alabama. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 136 player in the nation, including the 12th-best at his position.
