Kansas State offered three-star defensive tackle Emmanuel McMoore on Tuesday night.
Even with the season nearing, Kansas State football is still on the recruiting trail.
Now that the 2026 roster is set and the 2027 look is solidifying, the 2028 class is drawing more significance than it had a few months ago.
The latest player the program offered was Emmanuel McMoore, a three-star defensive tackle from Mount Carmel, IL. He currently attends Mount Carmel High School. McMoore has also received offers from Auburn, Iowa State, and Arizona State.
After a great conversation with [special teams coordinator] Stanton Weber and [recruiting director Greg] Svarczkopf, I am extremely blessed to receive an offer from Kansas State University," McMoore tweeted on Tuesday.
The inside was a big need for the program after last season. While the defensive ends continued to shine by getting to opposing quarterbacks, the inside struggled to stop the run. While it's not solely on the defensive tackles to stop the rushing attack, that's their main task. We'll see how the position shapes out this upcoming season, which will paint a clearer picture of how Kansas State addresses the defensive needs.

Brady Reeves, Tight End
Kansas State extended another offer to a tight end prospect, this time three-star Brady Reeves. He currently attends Hill-Murray High School in Maplewood, MN. Reeves also received offers from Vanderbilt, Iowa State, and Miami (OH). He's ranked right outside the top 20 at his position on 247Sports. Last season, Reeves had 25 receptions for 327 yards and nine touchdowns.
Sloan Blackwell, Tight End
The program offered tight end Sloan Blackwell on Tuesday night. He currently attends Waco Midway High School in Waco, TX. Blackwell also received offers from Arizona, Syracuse, and Arizona State. Last season, he had 18 receptions for 254 yards and two touchdowns, per MaxPreps.
Jerry Richmond, Offensive Lineman
The latest offensive lineman to be offered in the class was Jerry Richmond. He currently attends East St. Louis High School in East St. Louis, IL. Richmond has also received offers from Florida Atlantic, North Carolina, and South Dakota.
Asher Megonnell, Offensive Tackle
Kansas State offered offensive tackle Asher Megonnell on Friday. He currently attends Ankeny Centennial High School in Ankeny, IA. He also received an offer from Big 12 rival Iowa State. Megonnell is currently unranked.
