Kansas State coach Collin Klein has invited a bunch of top recruits around the country to watch Saturday's game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys
The Kansas State Wildcats have a huge game coming up against the Oklahoma State Cowboys Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan.
They are also have a big recruiting weekend ahead for the program. They are hosting several top recruits from around the country. Among them is quarterback Hudson Tomcheck, a three-star recruit from Southlake Carroll High School in Texas.
Tomcheck is the son of former Baylor quarterback, Guy, who played for the Bears from 1999-2002. The younger Tomcheck is a member of the 2028 recruiting. He is one of a few top players who will be in attendance.
Here's a look at some others:
The Wildcats are getting a head start on Cooper Pugh from Lee's Summit North in Missouri. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Pugh is a member of the 2029 class. He is from the same area that produced current K-State receiver Josh Manning.
Pugh's teammate, Monte Buford Jr., will also be in attendance. He is also a member of the 2029 class. Lee's Summit North could have one of the top duos in the state once both standouts are seniors.
Kipton Neighbors is a safety out of Gilmer High School in Texas. He is a member of the 2028 class. He has offers from the Baylor Bears, Houston Cougars, Kentucky Wildcats and Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Wildcats are getting a really start on tight end Braxton Seifert. He is a member of the 2030 class. He plays at Platte County High School, one of the top programs in Missouri.
Ty Florey is a 6-3, 205 linebacker out of Valley View High School in Jonesboro, Ark. He is in the 2029 class. He has offers from the Florida Gators, North Carolina Tar Heels, Arkansas Razorbacks and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Israel Johnigan, who is 6-4 and 220 pounds, just may be the most talented among the visitors at the stadium this weekend. He is a four-star tight prospect out of Center High School in Kansas City. A member of the 2028 class, he could be one of the top players at his position by next season.
Cornerback Jayden Stumpff already has the size of those who play his position at the college level. He is 6-3 and 185 pounds. A member of the 2028 class, he is a standout at Cedar Rapids Prairie in Iowa.
The hope is the Wildcats can put on a good showing in Manhattan this week to lure some of this top talent.
