Kansas State football is losing its original 2027 class commit.
Nazir Pitchford, a three-star cornerback from Palmetto, FL, decommitted from the program on Wednesday. He had six total tackles and a pass deflection in 2025. Pitchford also played wide receiver, recording 22 receptions for 344 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He committed to the program in February, marking coach Collin Klein's first addition to his inaugural recruiting class.
This knocks the 2027 commits down to 10. Klein has slowly built one of the best recruiting classes in the country, landing a plethora of three-star players and a few four-star players to build the roster of the future.
