Allen Fieldhouse is set for another milestone moment this weekend. Kansas and ESPN announced Saturday that ESPN’s College GameDay will visit Lawrence on Saturday, Jan. 31, as the Jayhawks host BYU in a Big 12 showdown that will also mark the 1,000th game played inside the historic arena.
The live College GameDay broadcast is scheduled for 10–11 a.m. CST, with tipoff between Kansas and BYU set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN later that afternoon.
Student gates will open at 8:30 a.m., with general public gates opening at 8:45 a.m., giving fans an early start for a packed day at Allen Fieldhouse.
The matchup pairs two ranked Big 12 Conference contenders and adds another chapter to Allen Fieldhouse’s long list of historic moments, with a national spotlight from ESPN and a milestone number attached.
