ESPN’s College GameDay will broadcast live from Allen Fieldhouse on Jan. 31 ahead of a marquee Big 12 matchup between No. 19 Kansas and No. 13 BYU.
The one-hour show begins at 10 a.m. CST, with tipoff set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN. More details about the broadcast are expected early this week.
It will be the 13th time GameDay has visited Lawrence, and Kansas is 10-2 when hosting the show.
Rece Davis will host alongside analysts Jay Bilas, Jay Williams, Andraya Carter and Seth Greenberg.
The game also features a much-anticipated freshman showdown between Kansas’ Darryn Peterson and BYU’s AJ Dybantsa, who built their reputations facing each other in high school. Peterson scored 32 points in a December 2024 win for Prolific Prep, then exploded for a school-record 58, including the game-winning 3-pointer. Both of them ae expected to be drafted in the top three of the upcoming NBA Draft.
Now the two meet again, this time in a Big 12 showdown at Allen Fieldhouse with College GameDay in town.
