Will Wade's return sparks massive roster shifts. Track every LSU Tigers player leaving and joining the program via the transfer portal.

The LSU Tigers made national news once again as they move on from Matt McMahon and bring back the controversial Will Wade, in hopes of bringing their program back to relevance.

As with any coaching change, there will be a massive shift in the roster. Several players have already entered the transfer portal, and there will likely be more moves to come. Plus, when the portal opens, an influx of talent will be brought in.

Below is an always-updating list of every player to exit the Tigers via the portal and those who are coming in:

Players Out

These are players who have already entered the portal or have made their intention known to enter when it opens.

Dedan Thomas Jr.

Thomas came to the team with the hopes of being the offensive engine. It worked well during the non-conference schedule as he was in the midst of a career year, but an injury derailed both his and LSU's seasons. If McMahon had been retained, Thomas would have likely stayed.

Mazi Mosley

Mosley is an exciting player given his mix of skillset and frame, seeing as though he's already 6-foot-5 but doesn't have much weight. He was projected to be a work-in-progress type of player. He was a top-100 recruit but didn't play much as a freshman.

Ron Zipper

Zipper was a professional in Israel, where he shot well and averaged 11.1 points in his final season before coming to Baton Rouge. He ended up logging just 33 minutes as a freshman.

Jalen Reed

Reed had figured to be a major part of the Tigers' plans for the last two years, but has played in 14 combined games. He's had very unfortunate injury luck and just hasn't been able to work out. He is the most likely on this list to end up going back to LSU.

Matt Gilhool

Gilhool was a fringe top-100 recruit coming out of high school as a stretch big, but didn't log any minutes as a freshman.

Players In

No one has transferred in yet, as the portal opens officially on April 7, 2026.
