LSU Tigers defensive tackle Deuce Geralds is receiving rave reviews from the start of his college career.

This year's LSU Tigers freshman defensive line class feels like it could have at least three true stars come out of it, and one is already starting to separate himself.

As fans get excited about the Lane Kiffin era starting, beginning to feel anxious in the most brutal point of the offseason, they have continued to comb through footage from spring camp. One player keep coming up: Deuce Geralds.

Of the trio of elite defensive line talents added, Geralds was actually the lowest-ranked as a recruit. He was still a top-75 player, but he was still a step behind his peers. He was known as an elite athlete, though. And that has shone through brightly to start his college career.

The Georgia native looks a step quicker than almost anyone he lines up against, whether it be fellow youngsters or some of the more experienced guards. That first step and explosion can't be taught. The fact that the Tigers also have an elite defensive line staff to coach him up is a recipe for greatness.

With this video, originally coming from back in April, spreading around again, more footage of Geralds' athletic background has also come to light. Tingle & Co. shared another old TikTok of the defensive lineman working out, and he continues to do things he should not be able to do, at least not at the level of ease that he displays.

Geralds is coming in listed at 6-foot-1, 279 pounds as a freshman. That's a little bit undersized for someone who plays up the middle, but LSU has had recent success with ultra-athletic tackles. Think back to the success that Mekhi Wingo had. Geralds has an even higher ceiling.

The Tigers built their roster in a way to where they ideally won't need their freshmen to contribute right away on the defensive line, but they also certainly wouldn't complain if someone like Geralds were to force their way onto the field. Right now, he looks impossible to keep on the sidelines. Once fall camp begins, it'll be interesting to see if his peers are able to keep up with him, or if he continues to seperate.
