One final mock draft before the MLB draft begins on Saturday had four total LSU Tigers included between current players and future commits.

The 2026 MLB draft will begin on Saturday afternoon and it could have a major impact on next season. There are a handful of future commits who could still either end up on campus or in the draft, and it'll depend on when they hear their names called in the draft.

To get an overview of what to expect when the draft begins, ESPN's Kiley McDaniel released a final mock draft with 75 picks. In it, there were four total Tigers players and commits who were predicted to hear their names called in the first two rounds.

Righty pitcher Jensen Hirschkorn was mentioned as a possibility for the Kansas City Royals with the No. 30 overall pick, but wasn't the choice in the mock and didn't get taken after that. It feels like if he doesn't go by then, then he'll likely end up in college.

Here are the four LSU stars, between commits and players, who did get taken in the mock:

No. 11 - Washington Nationals - OF Derek Curiel

Curiel is certain to hear his name called in the first `15 or so picks, he could end up close to the top five. He's a plus defender and has a plus hit tool. Teams know what they're going to get from him. He was a success story of going to college instead of the draft with a top 150-ranking.

No. 38 - Colorado Rockies - LHP Logan Schmidt

This would be a scary outcome just because the Rockies are where pitching careers go to die, but Schmidt is certainly someone who should hear his name called in the top 50 and heading to MLB. There are some murmurs that he is sliding due to a high asking price. It likely won't slide him all the way to Baton Rouge, though.

No. 41 - Chicago White Sox - 1B Dominic Santarelli

Santarelli certainly felt like he was a long shot to make it to campus for a while, and the pre-draft hype is only making it feel worse for the Tigers. He showcased crazy bat speed and immense power potential at the combine, and it felt like a team would swoop him and add him to the farm.

No. 65 - Seattle Mariners - OF Jake Brown

Brown was also connected to the Arizona Diamondbacks in the second round by McDaniel. His injury certainly slowed down the hype, but Brown still hit for .309 and 16 home runs last season while playing great defense. Had he stayed healthy, he could have risen to a first-round pick. Still, he will hear his name called on the first day,
