With the bye week here, now is a good time to take a look at who the biggest standouts have been for the LSU Tigers this season.

The LSU Tigers have reached the bye week. This is a chance for the team to reset and rest before a brutal stretch to end the season. While they have three straight games against Top-20 opponents awaiting them when they get back, they should also have the confidence that they can compete, given how they have performed so far this season.

With some time to sit and reflect on the year up to this point, here is a look at the team's top performers so far using Pro Football Focus's 0 to 100 grading system:

QB Sam Leavitt - 91.0

It has been an odd year for Leavitt, as he is leading the conference with eight interceptions, but he has also certainly been one of the best quarterbacks. He also leads the SEC with 2,173 yards and is tied for the lead with 17 touchdowns. He is third in the conference with a 70.31% completion rate.

Leavitt has the talent to keep the Tigers in any game they play this season. The thing is, some of his mistakes have been crucial turning points in their losses. They'll need him to continue his current trend, as he hasn't had any official turnovers in the past two games.

S Tamarcus Cooley - 87.2

Cooley is an underrated piece of this defense. He doesn't get the same hype as players like DJ Pickett or Ty Benefield, but he has been fantastic this season. He is allowed a 30.5 NFL passer rating against him this season with 12 catches allowed on 22 targets and two interceptions. He moves around the defense a bunch but is reliable pretty much anywhere. There hasn't been any huge hole to his game this season.

DE Jordan Ross - 86.0

Ross is another player whose production doesn't match his hype. The respect is starting to come, but he has been dominant all year long. He is tied with teammate Princewill Umanmielen for the SEC lead in pressures with 29. Ross was a former five-star player who didn't live up to expectations over his first two years, but didn't have a great opportunity with the Tennessee Volunteers. He has been a major piece for LSU and a perfect fit for the Blake Baker defense.

WR Jackson Harris - 85.8

When Trey'Dez Green went down earlier this season, Harris stepped up. The Hawai'i transfer was fairly quiet outside of a couple of big plays over the first three weeks, but has averaged 6.2 catches, 103.4 yards and 1.4 touchdowns per game since Week 4. He is the top wide receiver on this team right now and is a highlight reel-type star. Excited to see how this season ends for him, as he should finish with over 1,000 yards with this new pace.
