LSU Tigers snag explosive WR Jayce Brown from the Kansas State Wildcats. This prolific pass-catcher and versatile playmaker instantly elevates LSU's potent aerial attack.

The LSU Tigers have been busy adding to their wide receiver room so far in the transfer portal window, and they secured their biggest commitment yet on Tuesday afternoon.

Former Kansas State Wildcats standout Jayce Brown has committed to the Tigers per

The expectation is that Brown will be the top wide receiver option in the offense next year. He has 115 catches for 1,972 yards and 13 touchdowns over three seasons with the Wildcats. Kansas State also started to use his athleticism in different ways as he picked up 14 carries for 161 yards and another touchdown.

Just like the two other receivers that LSU has brought over in Tre Brown and Jackson Harris, Jayce is a big play machine. He has averaged 17.1 yards per catch for his career and had 17.4 last season. All three receiver transfers finished in the top-30 for yards per catch last year, Tre Brown and Harris were both top-10.

Jayce Brown was the No. 81 overall player in the transfer portal per the 247Sports rankings. He was the No. 21 wide receiver available.

The Tigers haven't added a big-bodied, possession-first receiver yet in the portal but the priority has been clear so far. Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weis Jr. are going to try to stretch the field much more than LSU did last year.

Brown is going to be exciting to watch next season. His 41 catches for 712 yards and five scores from this past campaign are made more impressive with the context that he played in just 250 passing downs for the Wildcats. The year before, he had 47 catches for 823 yards and five scores on 376 snaps.
