The LSU Tigers are going to need to rework a lot of their roster in the transfer portal, needing both starters at key positions and a lot of depth.
Lane Kiffin has been busy with meetings over the first few days of the portal being open. Most of the focus on the outside has been with landing a quarterback, which is far, but they've also added a couple of other pieces to the offense already.
Former Hawaii Rainbow Warriors wide receiver Jackson Harris became the first portal addition on Sunday, but the team added three more players by Monday night.
Here are the latest additions to the offense, with all commitments coming throughout Monday:
The Tigers had already gotten their major running back win before the portal opened by keeping former five-star Harlem Berry on the roster. He will be the bell cow of the offense and receive a majority of snaps.
With Caden Durham entering the portal, though, they needed to buff up the offense. Berry's return made it clear that Kiffin would not be going after Ole Miss Rebels running back Kewan Lacy, so Monday saw them land a new backup.
Guillory is a 5-foot-9. 192-pound former three-star recruit out of Texas. He seems like a great athlete, but hasn't had much of a chance to showcase his talents at the collegiate level. He had just one carry for four yards with the Utes. He'll have four years of eligibility left.
Similar to the situation with Berry, the Tigers already have their starting tight end with Trey'Dez Green. That's not enough, though, as Green moves around the offense a lot and they need another option behind him on the depth chart. Think of the role that Bauer Sharp played this past season.
Thomas was a three-star recruit back in the 2024 class. He had two catches for two yards and a touchdown as a freshman and then had 13 catches for 192 yards and two more scores last season. He was a backup for his career and looked solid when they gave him chances, so it'll be interesting to see if he earns more looks at LSU.
Brown is the second wide receiver added after Harris. Both players are big play machines, making it clear what Kiffin and co. are looking for in that room.
Brown has come a long way from playing JUCO in 2024 and then spending last year with the Monarchs. The Ohio State Buckeyes had also shown interest in him before he chose the Tigers, so he was going to be headed to a big school no matter what.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound target had 38 catches for 762 yards and four scores. That's 20.1 yards per catch, which ranked seventh in the country for last year. Harris was right behind him at 19.7 yards per catch, ranked eighth.
