Kim Mulkey lands transfer guard Chloe Larry, adding scoring punch and proven three-point prowess to bolster the LSU Tigers' 2024-25 roster.
The LSU Tigers have added another transfer to next year's squad as they fill the holes that have popped up this offseason, announcing the addition of junior guard Chloe Larry on Tuesday afternoon.
This is what Kim Mulkey had to say about the addition within the team's official announcement:
“I’m excited to welcome Chloe to LSU. She brings an incredible work ethic, strong leadership, and a natural ability to elevate those around her. I have no doubt she will work tirelessly to represent the purple and gold with pride.”
Larry began her career two years ago when she began with the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. She came out of the gates strong with a high shot volume, making her presence known. While she might not have green of a light with the Tigers, having someone who can put up shots when she needs to can be very valuable.
The Bossier City, Louisiana native has averaged 12.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals per night on 38.4/35.0/84.4 shooting splits. That three-point percentage is an exciting add.
LSU was efficient behind the three-point line last season, but they didn't have any volume. They ranked No. 320 in the nation in attempted three-pointers, but third with a 37.78%. Having that accuracy drop a little bit in favor of added volume would help open up some space in the paint, which is where Mulkey's teams have always made their money.
Larry becomes the fourth addition to the roster, joining Noa Morro, Laila Reynolds and Jada Williams.
