An updated look at who the LSU Tigers baseball team is adding out of the transfer portal.

The LSU Tigers have moved past their disappointing 2026 campaign that saw them miss the NCAA tournament and are on to building next year's roster to make sure that he doesn't happen again.

Jay Johnson is following in the footsteps of Lane Kiffin and Will Wade, putting those Tigers resources to use and landing some big time athletes already, with more coming down the pipeline.

Here's a look at who LSU has brought in from the transfer portal, a list that will be updated throughout the offseason with the newest names first:

Tulane Green Wave CF Jason Wachs

Wachs is an in-state transfer, coming in after starring in New Orleans for a couple of years. The expectation is that he is going to man center field, with Derek Curiel likely headed the Majors. He has slashed .331/.455/.531 over two seasons with the Green Wave. He hit nine home runs last season.

Florida Gators 2B Cade Kurland

Unlike the others on this list, there is still a chance that Kurland doesn't end up on campus next season. The 22-year-old is weighing his potential professional options as he is draft eligible, but would be a great addition to next year's roster if he comes to Baton Rouge. He has 193 collegiate games under his belt with 43 home runs and has slashed .276/.384/.469. Johnson wants to see him suit up in purple and gold next year.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish OF Bino Watters

Watters is the No. 1 player in the portal, coming in to replace some of the production that the outfield is losing this offseason with both Derek Curiel and Jake Brown likely leaving for the draft.

The former Fighting Irish star is one of the best hitters in the sport. He posted a .343/.442/.584 slash line to start his college career with 19 home runs and 90 RBI.

Texas State Bobcats SS Dawson Park

Park is coming off of a great offensive season and is known for his defensive capabilities, giving the Tigers a standout shortstop option no matter what Steven Milam decides to do with the draft.

Last year, for the Bobcats, Park slashed .301/.387/.575 with 13 home runs, 52 RBI and nine stolen bases. As a freshman, though, he had an OPS of just .614 with a similar sample size. Still, it's good that the better year happened as he developed in college. It's unclear how ready he is for SEC pitching, but he will be a great help in the field no matter what.

Gonzaga Bulldogs RHP Landon Hood

Hood is considered best pitcher in the transfer portal by many, and should immediately come to campus as a weekend starter. LSU desperately needed to turn their pitching staff around, and Hood is a great start.

Last season, the righty posted a 2.48 ERA with a 0.975 WHIP and 78 strikeouts in 54.1 innings last season. He boasts a fantastic fastball and a big frame.

This article will be updated when further players commit...
