An updated look at the 2026 LSU Tigers players who are entering the transfer portal.

The LSU Tigers baseball season was, in short, a disaster in 2026. They finished the year 30-28 overall and 9-21 against conference opponents. It was not what anyone expects to see out of a Jay Johnson program.

After a year like that, massive changes are expected. Not only will the transfer portal be major in bringing players in to try and fix some issues, there will also be a handful of Tigers who hope into the portal hoping for new opportunities:

Here is an updated look at who has left LSU and headed into the portal:

RHP Jaden Noot

Noot has spent three seasons with the Tigers. He was expected to take a big jump forward this past season after looking promising last year, but ended up just taking a step back. Over 31 career appearances, he has posted a 5.23 ERA with 53 strikeouts to 24 walks in 43.0 innings of work.

Featured stories

RHP Mavrick Rizy

Rizy stands out at 6-foot-9, 251 pounds, but hasn't shown much improvement since showing up on campus. He looked pretty much the same over both of his first two seasons. He is a high-ceiling, low-floor pitcher who struggles with walks. He handed out 38 free bags in 46 innings. If he figures that out, he could take his game to the next level.

LHP DJ Primeaux

Primeaux is a southpaw who started out strong with a 2.45 ERA as a freshman and a 3.86 ERA in an expanded bullpen role as a sophomore. He only ended up 2.1 innings this past season. It was not a shock at all to see him end up in the portal, as he looks to find a spot where he can make an impact in his final year of eligbility.

INF Trent Caraway

Caraway is one of the many offensive transfer portal additions they brought in that didn't work out. He ended up posting just a .243/.321/.392 slash line. Hit just two home runs after launching 12 last season, which is obviously a major disparity.

OF Daniel Harden

Harden was a JUCO addition and hit .345 last season with 12 home runs. No one should have expected him to be just as productive in the SEC, but Harden simply couldn't find the field. He slashed .105/.393/.263 this past season with two hits all year.

This article will be updated if further players leave...
