The LSU Tigers have not yet added the controversial former professional athletes to their roster, meaning they will miss the Clemson Tigers game.

The LSU Tigers have not yet added tight end Dae'Quan Wright and defensive tackle Zxavian Harris, the two players who had previously signed professional contracts, to their roster for Saturday's game against the Clemson Tigers, per Pete Thamel. Two spots are open on the roster, leaving room for both.

Wright had previously stated that he expected to play on Saturday, but Harris was already planning not to participate.

This news comes hours after the report stating that Clemson had told LSU that they could be in breach of their contract for the game if they had played the two on Saturday. While not a direct threat, the Tigers don't need any more litigation and can certainly win without them.

Harris and Wright were both awarded their eligibility on Thursday, and the school was enjoined from keeping them from playing this season. The plan, as of now, is still to eventually roster and play them. The contract with Clemson may have just delayed it.

Additionally to these two not playing, Thamel reported that EDGE rusher Junior Tuihalamaka was on the roster. His eligibility was far less controversial, given that he never signed a professional contract. He just needed to re-enter the NCAA.

Tuihalamaka will provide very solid depth for LSU along the defensive line. They have high-impact transfers coming in already; now they add a veteran who has played in the postseason and appeared in 54 games. He has 61 tackles for four sacks with nine TFLs over four seasons with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Former Utah Utes defensive back, rumored Tigers target, Blake Cotton is not on the roster and seemingly won't be given that LSU only has two open spots on their defense.

While the Tigers didn't need any of these players to win this season, they saw a lane open to improve their roster and took it by any means necessary.

Harris is a massive 6-foot-8 space eater up the middle with 17.5 career TFLs and 5.5 sacks. He had 9 TFLs and 3.5 sacks last season alone. He was elite for the Ole Miss Rebels.

Wright was potentially even better with 39 catches for 635 yards and five touchdowns. That's 16.3 yards per reception. Adding a weapon like him to this LSU offense, which already has an elite tight end in Trey'Dez Green would be dangerous.
