The LSU Tigers have put a bowtie on their elite transfer portal class with a commitment from top offensive tackle Jordan Seaton on Friday night.

The LSU Tigers can finally rest as they have finally secured that final big fish out of the transfer portal with the commitment of former Colorado Buffaloes tackle Jordan Seaton.

Seaton made the announcement on Instagram by changing his profile picture to a shot of him in the uniform and then a picture of him throwing up the signature "L", putting an end to what has been a wild recruitment over the last few days.

The Tigers had played host to the tackle over the weekend, but he had a visit to the Oregon Ducks set for right after it. It was reported that LSU was doing its best to keep him in town and out of the Pacific Northwest.

A few people have reported, first by Matt Moscona of Locked On LSU, that Seaton wanted to commit to the Tigers earlier in the week but had family pushing him to choose the Ducks. It seems that in the end, the player got what he wanted.

This is a massive addition for LSU that only adds to an already elite transfer portal class. They have now secured the top quarterback (Sam Leavitt) and the top two non-quarterbacks (Seaton and Princewill Umanmielen).

Seaton was the No. 4 overall player in the transfer portal per the 247Sports rankings. He has always been a highly-valued player. He was the No. 13 overall player in the 2024 recruiting class, the top tackle and the fourth-ranked out of Florida.

The tackle completes the offensive line rebuild that the Tigers underwent this offseason. He is a proven talent who was in a bad situation and should only get better as time goes by.

Season has some work to do as a run blocker, but he was very productive in pass protection last year. Per Pro Football Focus, he allowed just seven pressures all year long and just two sacks.

The expectations in year one for Lane Kiffin just continue to get higher.
