The LSU Tigers could still add another major piece to next year's squad as they are suitors for former Auburn Tigers star Keyshawn Hall, who is returning to the sport.

The world of college basketball is constantly changing right now, the LSU Tigers are celebrating as it continues to give them new ways to improve next year's initial Will Wade roster.

They have reportedly been going after one of the top names in the market right now, as ex-Auburn Tigers star Keyshawn Hall is believed to have another year of eligibility because of a preliminary injunction in Ohio last week. He's wasting no time in getting back to the sport, having exhausted eligibility last year.

College basketball insider Jon Rothstein set this list of teams in the market for Hall on Sunday:

LSU Tigers
Kentucky Wildcat
St. John's Red Storm
Kansas Jayhawks
Gonzaga Bulldogs
SMU Mustangs
UCF Golden Knights (where Hall played the 24/25 season)
Providence Friars

This is a very busy market with some of the top names in collegiate athletics, which shows just how highly-touted a talent that Hall is. He would be one of the top returning players in the sport if he actually can suit up next season.

The former Auburn standout has already had four different schools. He started with the UNLV Rebels back in 2022, but didn't really play much that season. He then spent the next three years as a starter with the George Mason Patriots, the Golden Knights and the Tigers.

Last year, Hall put up 19.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists on 45.1/37.9/85.7 shooting splits. That was enough to get him named to the All-SEC third team. He made the All-Big 12 and All-A10 second teams when he was at his previous stops.

This would be a perfect addition to the first year group for Wade. Right now, it's going to be mostly up to RJ Luis as the leader of the team and most proven college basketball talent.

It makes sense that LSU would be involved in one of the top "5-5" players who are searching for more eligibility right now. This roster has been constructed through a lot of targeting international players and those fighting for more time on the college court already. Wade had to start with a completely blank slate in Baton Rouge, so it's hard to argue with the strategy in terms of trying to compete right away.

Wade has at least made it to the first four round of the NCAA tournament since the 2020/2021 season despite two job changes. Hall would help him keep that streak going with the Tigers.
