After a wave of eligibility news, here is an updated look at the group that the LSU Tigers are going to roll out for Will Wade's first season back in Baton Rouge.
A moment that many thought may never come: the LSU Tigers have a full basketball team for the 2026/2027 season.
Will Wade’s unconventional roster-building strategy has paid off, as the team now has 14 players on it. They didn’t get everybody they wanted, missing out on RJ Luis and Marcus Santos, but they should still be happy with who they do have.
Here is a full look at the 14 players suiting up for the Tigers this season:
Guards
No. 0 Luke Stansbury
No. 1 Abdi Bashir Jr.
No. 2 Austin Nunez
No. 3 Donovan Dent
No. 4 Bradley Fife
No. 55 Skyy Clark
No. 99 Divine Ugochukwu
Having both Clark and Dent together should help as LSU builds an offensive rhythm, as they played together in the UCLA backcourt last season.
Dent nearly had a triple double in the Tigers’ last exhibition, and averaged 13.4 points, 7.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game last year. Clark averaged 11.5 points and shot 42.7% from three on 4.8 attempts per game.
Speaking of shooting, that's what Bashir is going to be doing every time he is on the court. He shot 44.4% from three on 8.4 attempts per game last season. He has also played in the exhibitions, and has been letting it fly from deep.
Forwards
No. 5 Jordan Bender
No. 7 Saliou Niang
No. 10 Mo Dioubate
The wing room is not deep, hurt by the loss of Luis, but Niang and Dioubate should prove to be a defensive nightmare for opponents. Bender isn't going to play as much this season with the added depth, but he'll be the first depth player off the bench if something were to happen.
Dioubate is one of the few players with experience against SEC competition, as he began his career with the Alabama Crimson Tide and Kentucky Wildcats. Niang is expected to be one of the top wings in the conference.
Centers
No. 13 Brice Dessert
No. 18 Gilad Levy
No. 22 Strake Pearson
No. 32 Michael Ruzic
Ruzic has been great during the exhibitions, but can now take a breath as they have some real help in the front court. This is a large group with Ruzic at 7-foot, Dessert at 6-11 and Levy at 7-foot-3. Expect to see a heavy dosage of these three. Ruzic and Dessert are among the most anticipated international prospects in college basketball this season.
