The LSU Tigers have been very busy since the transfer portal opened, bringing in the largest class in school history and the top-ranked group of players in the nation.
Part of that was new head coach Lane Kiffin building the team out how he saw fit, finding people who matched what he wanted to do.
Another reason that the class is so big, though, is just necessity. A whopping 37 players from last year's team entered the portal, and that's on top of the players who ran out of eligibility.
Most of those former LSU stars and signees have found new homes, and most of them are with notable schools. These are people in search of new environments and increased opportunity.
