These three LSU Tigers starters are going to feel pressure for a couple of different reasons this week against the Kentucky Wildcats.

The LSU Tigers are not a finished product, especially as they figure out what to do with all of the injuries. There is a ton of talent on the roster, but they have to figure out how to use it correctly.

That being said, there are going to be weekly reassessments where the Tigers could figure out who to play more each week. This weekend against the Kentucky Wildcats, these are three LSU players who could be under a little bit of pressure to perform this week:

WR Winston Watkins Jr.

Anyone who watched the start of the game against the McNeese St. Cowboys last week knows that Watkins dropped two easy touchdown passes. No one needs to remind him that that can't be done, but now he still has to respond to it. Freshman Corey Barber Jr. came in and made it look worse by having a two-score breakout of his own.

On the year, Watkins has 23 catches for 354 yards and two scores. He is the team's leading receiver and is a Lane Kiffin guy. He isn't in immediate danger of losing playing time, but all eyes will be on how he responds to last week. If mistakes start to snowball, the team has the talent to look elsewhere if they have to.

LB Davhon Keys

Keys is facing pressure each game that Whit Weeks is out as a replacement starter. LSU also has other linebackers worthy of looks, including Tylen Singleton and Zach Weeks, so Keys has to keep his level of play up each game.

The Tigers have no reason to replace Keys as of now, though, as he has played well to this point. He has 15 tackles on the year and has avoided making the big mistakes. He also hasn't made a ton of impact plays, one TFL back in Week 1, so that could be a place to see improvement.

LG William Satterwhite II

LSU hasn't been happy with what's happening at left guard this season, sparking a change a couple of games ago, going from Bo Bordelon to Satterwhite as a starter. Both weeks, though, both have seen action. Both players struggled against the Texas A&M Aggies and both did well against the Cowboys, so not much has been answered. While Satterwhite will likely continue as the starter heading into the game against the Wildcats, there has been no indication that he is past them trying different things out there.
