Former LSU Tigers stars are making their mark in the United Football League.

There are a handful of former LSU Tigers players preparing for the NFL draft later this month, but that's not the only pathway to playing professional football after college.

The UFL kicked off this past weekend, and eight former Tigers played across five of the eight teams in the league. Here are the ex-LSU players who are participating this season:

Houston Gamblers

Major Burns

Burns went undrafted in 2025 and was able to land with the Bears for a little bit, but was waived with an injury designation pretty early on. He was an ultra-aggressive safety that made big hits and had big moments, but was inconsistent in coverage.

He had four tackles with a pass breakup in the Gamblers' season opener.

Kary Vincent Jr.

Vincent has been out of college for much longer and has bounced around different professional leagues since 2021. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2021, was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and then failed to make the team before signing with the San Francisco 49ers practice squad in 2022. That was the end of his road in the NFL.

He played in the XFL, CFL and now UFL. He had two tackles and a pass breakup in the season opener.

Jontre Kirlin

Kirklin went undrafted back in 2022 and bounced between practice squads for a while, but eventually joined the San Antonio Brahmas. He signed with Houston this past season.

He was the team's lead receiver in the opener, grabbing four catches for 60 yards.

Birmingham Stallions

Tyrion Davis-Price

Davis-Price was a third-round pick back in 2022 and spent some time between the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles, but only had 43 career carries for 127 yards. Now he's a backup running back for the Stallions. He had four rushes for 14 yards.

DC Defenders

Micah Baskerville

Baskerville went undrafted in 2023 and spent a couple of years on the Chicago Bears practice squad. He signed with the Defenders in 2025 and is now in his second season with the team.

He's a leader on the defense, finishing tied for the lead with six tackles in the opener.

St. Louis Battlehawks

Neil Farrell Jr.

Farrell is a space-eater up the middle. He was a fourth-round pick by the Las Vegas Raiders and ended up playing for three NFL teams, but was waived prior to the 2025 NFL season before being drafted by the Battlehawks earlier this year.

He had a single tackle in the first game of the season.

Dallas Renegades

Tashawn Bower

Bower is the oldest player on this list at 31. He spent five years as a backup in the NFL and is now pretty much in the same role in the UFL. He had a lone tackle in the team's first game.

Louisville Kings

Mekhi Garner

Garner spent just one season in Baton Rouge in college and went undrafted in 2023 before spending a couple of years with the Philadelphia Eagles, only appearing in three games total.

He originally signed with the Arlington Renegades in 2025, but was released and ended up with the Chicago Bears, but didn't make the team. Now he's trying again with the Kings. He had six tackles in the first game.
