The LSU Tigers have a ton of former football stars in the NFL. There are stars like Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson, but there are even more role players who have stuck around for a while, a little bit further under the radar.
With only the Super Bowl left this season, most NFL teams are thinking about what they are going to do this offseason. A lot will end up acquiring former Tigers between free agency and the draft.
From Pro Football Focus, here are the ex-LSU stars who are free agents this year and among the top 250 players available:
No. 91 K'Lavon Chaisson
Chaisson is the only one on this list whose season isn't yet over, as he hopes to win a Super Bowl ring with the New England Patriots. He has already won this year, though, as he revitalized his career.
The pass-rusher had a career-best year with 7.5 sacks in the regular season. He has taken it up a notch recently with three sacks in the playoffs.
No. 107 OG Ed Ingram
Ingram is also coming off the best year of his career. He was off to a pretty weak start with the Minnesota Vikings for three seasons before being traded to the Houston Texans.
He's a solid guard, which there is a shortage of in the NFL. That means he should absolutely be getting a nice payday this offseason.
No. 144 DE Arden Key
Key will be entering his ninth season in the NFL, having made a career out of being a reliable pass rusher. He started for the Tennessee Titans this year, but will probably enter a phase of mostly being a rotational passing-down player. That already started to happen as this past year progressed.
No. 162 OC Ethan Pocic
Pocic, like Ingram, is a reliable interior offensive lineman. He was a serviceable starter and would be a fantastic backup, depending on what his market looks like this offseason.
No. 217 S/LB Jamal Adams
A lot of people might think that Adams is out of the league. Now a decade into his career, he is a far different player than he was early, but he has adapted to stick around.
He spent a year with the Las Vegas Raiders, who switched him to linebacker. It was actually his best season since probably 2021. Given his current athletic state, he'll probably remain in the box for whoever he signs with next.
No. 224 CB Tre'Davious White
White returned to the Buffalo Bills after a year away and ended up being a crucial part of their defense. He really turned it on in the second half of the campaign, with an interception and six passes defended in the final eight weeks, including the playoffs.
No. 242 CB Cor'Dale Flott
Flott started for the New York Giants this season. He's probably serviceable as a starter, but seems destined for more of a backup role now that his rookie deal is up.
No. 248 TE Foster Moreau
Moreau is solid depth and a fantastic pass-blocking tight end. He won't fill up any stat sheets, but he's good to have in a room. His injury history could scare some potential suitors away.
