The LSU Tigers took care of business on Saturday night against the Southeastern Lions and walked away with a 56-10 victory.

It was the expected result, but it was at least nice to see the expected result after the weak start against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

The starters came out strong in this one and got out to a 42-0 lead after the first drive of the third quarter, after which the backups started to come into the game. A lot of Tigers players got time on the field that night.

Here are the four highest-graded standouts from the LSU victory, using their Pro Football Focus grade from the game:

    DE Jimari Butler - 93.3

Butler is a senior that transferred over from the Nebraska Cornhuskers this past offseason. He has had a solid role in the rotation at defensive end, but hasn't necessarily stood out.

He made the most of his 18 snaps on Saturday, though. He picked up a pressure, two tackles, a half of a tackle for loss and a batted pass. Overall, he has been a solid addition to a strong defensive line so far.

    QB Garrett Nussmeier - 92.3

Nussmeier has been the topic of conversation this week after it was revealed that he was dealing with a torso injury that took place back in fall camp. Everyone could tell that something was wrong with him and his usage, but wasn't quite what sure.

Brian Kelly stood by his quarterback starting this week, saying he was looking himself in practice again and it showed in his performance against the Lions.

Nussmeier was quick, efficient and clutch against Southeastern. He even faced a bit a pressure but looked good for most of the night. They still couldn't get the deep pass working on a consistent rate, but did essentially just pick their spots when they needed to.

There wasn't much to complain about on offense this week, thanks mostly to a strong performance from Nussmeier.

    LB Whit Weeks - 85.1

After being ejected just three plays into last week's game on an iffy targeting call, it is no surprise that Weeks came out of the gates firing on Saturday night.

He actually only played about 17 snaps against the Lions, but was reliably effective when he was on the field. He had three tackles, one of them logging as a stop in the run game.

    LB Davhon Keys - 77.4

Keys has played far more than anyone expected him to early on this season, but that has actually been a positive for the Tigers. He has revealed himself as yet another star linebacker in this room.

He logged a start this week and made his presence felt in multiple ways. He rushed the quarterback twice and had three tackles. He was also solid in coverage, as he wasn't really tested.
