DeAndre Williams signs with Israeli team

According to social media, DeAndre Williams has signed with Ironi Kiryat Ata B.C. of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Williams heads to Israel after spending a season with the Delaware Blue Coats, the 76ers’ G-League affiliate.

Williams has spent time in multiple leagues since leaving Memphis. In 2024, he played in the Philippines and in Taiwan, where he won the T1 League championship.

He signed with Sabah BC a few months later and spent five months playing in the Azerbaijan Basketball League before the two sides split in January, 2025.

Williams signed with Delaware ahead of the 2025-26 season, and he played in 46 total games between the Tip-Off tournament and the regular season. The forward averaged 16.8 points, 7.1rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

According to the Instagram post, Williams is expected to land in Israel tomorrow and join the team for the remainder of the season. The team has six regular-season games remaining.
