Tuesdays in this space are the appropriate time for opinions that may go against the grain and even conventional wisdom. And yes it goes with out saying for tacos…..tacos are a legit Tuesday staple to many. While not my thing, I get it. And if you really want to take the tangent train, I bet that if your grandmother never made tacos when you were groing up, you also use a wash cloth when taking a shower. Just my observations after decades on earth. Now back to the Canes:
- Canes should be ranked NO LOWER THAN 3. Cases can be made for OSU and Penn State but LSU’s pedestrian offense does not parallel their lofty ranking.
- Georgia misses Carson Beck. Hindsight is 20/20 and the brain trust in Athens along with their fans are reevaluating their rush to begin the Gunnar Stockton error.
- “Where them fans at…” Coach Billie Napier’s Florida Gators loss to USF has many of their fans hoping he puts his boots on the ground. Gators will shock the world and beat LSU Saturday creating a prime time EVENT September 20th at Hard Rock Stadium vs. Canes.
- Xavier Restrepo should immediately be elevated to WR1. Cam Ward dropped DIMES in his debut only for his Tennessee Titans WR’s to drop pass after pass. Earth to NFL: Nobody runs 40 yards straight without pads on. rFilm evaluations should trump antiquated combine busy work.
- NFL Coaches go for 2 point conversions WAY TOO EARLY. Bills won but it was made difficult by failed (unnecessary) 2 point conversion attempt. Dear Coaches:Kick the extra point and you’re only down 7 with over a quarter to go…they’ll still let you in your MENSA Meetings.
