Mission Accomplished
*Miami Hurricanes cruise by the Bethune Cookman Wildcats, amassing 543 yards of offense in a 45-3 victory. Many younger players saw the field players, most importantly, allowing them to come out of the battle injury free.
*Carson Beck went 22 of 24 for 264 yards. He broke Vinny Testeverde’s school-record by completing his first 15 passes. Beck also threw two touchdowns.
*Wide Receiver CJ Daniels continues to impress with two touchdown receptions.
*Malachi Toni, 17, seems to have developed into Beck’s go-to WR with six catches for 80 yards
*Mark Fletcher's 11 carries went 86 yards and for two touchdowns.
*After two weeks of college football it’s not hype: defensive ends Akeem Messidor and Reuben Bain Jr., are potentially the best defensive ends in the country.
The `Canes now turn their attention to the South Florida Bulls, who are coming off a shocking upset of the Florida Gators.
