We finally caught our first bold prediction win.
With the over/under set at 52.5, I thought the total seemed a bit too high with Mother Nature threatening and the Spartans facing their first major test of the season.
So, I brought the total down 12 full points — and still had room to spare.
After finally hitting my first bold prediction, I'm feeling good heading into this week's matchup.
Keep in mind, these aren't betting predictions, nor are they predictions I truly expect to get right every week. They're bold, they're spicy, and when they hit, I'll feel like I'm on top of the world.

Week Four Bold Predictions
Michigan State Wins by 6+ Points
The Spartans enter Week Four as home underdogs, facing a Nebraska team that boasts a top-25 offense and defense.
We're expecting a bloodbath between two teams looking to establish early dominance in the Big Ten. Both programs are trying to get back to where they were in years past, when Nebraska and Michigan State were competing for playoff spots and championships.
Vegas loves the Cornhuskers, so much so that Nebraska is currently a 5.5-point favorite.
But I think the numbers may be a bit skewed because of the opponents Nebraska has faced to this point.
I don't just think the Spartans will win. I'm going to go a step further and boldly predict that Michigan State wins by a touchdown or more.
Kenny Soares Jr. Records Two Sacks
Kenny Soares Jr. already has one sack on the season, along with an interception, and he's truly living up to the "Mr. Spartan" title he was awarded before the season, earning him the opportunity to wear the No. 1 jersey.
Soares was all over the field in Week Three against Notre Dame and nearly came away with two sacks.
On one play, C.J. Carr somehow escaped without ever touching the ground before completing a pass. On another, Carr was able to just barely get away from Soares before finding a receiver downfield.
Now, I believe Soares is angry he wasn't able to bring Carr down.
That frustration could spell trouble for Nebraska quarterback Anthony Colandrea.
I'm going bold and predicting Soares gets to Colandrea twice.
Jayden Savoury 60+ Receiving Yards
The team leader in receptions per game over the past two weeks appears to be on the verge of a breakout.
What better time for that breakout than the opening game of Big Ten play against a formidable Nebraska defense?
The Spartans will likely need to get the ball out quickly against a Cornhusker defense ranked among the nation's top 25 and capable of bringing plenty of pressure.
That means Alessio Milivojevic will need to be quick and precise with his throws, and that could play right into Jayden Savoury's hands.
Savoury has already shown he can be a reliable target, and I think this could be the game where he takes another step forward.
I like him to find the end zone and lead the team in receptions once again.
But the bold prediction we're going with is 60+ receiving yards — a mark Savoury has yet to reach in his career.
It's time for him to break through.
