Missouri football continued to add transfer pieces Wednesday evening, earning commitments from a pair of former Southeastern Conference players.
The first was former Mississippi State offensive lineman Luke Work. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound lineman made seven starts and appeared in 11 games in his 2024 freshman season. He played less in 2025, battling injuries and seeing a decreased role.
The majority of his snaps with the bulldogs came at left and right tackle — 79.5% of them to be exact. He’ll compete for a starting spot with the Tigers right away, given he’s one of just two rostered players with starting experience at tackle, joining junior Cayden Green.
Here’s how Missouri’s offensive line room sits as of Jan. 7
Cayden Green (eligibility expires 2026)
Dominick Guidice (2026)
Curtis Peagler (2026)
Tristan Wilson (2027)
Logan Reichert (2027)
Luke Work (2027)
Ryan Jostes (2029)
Jack Lange (2029)
Johnnie Jones (2030)
Bryson Wessell (2030)
Braylon Ellison (2030)
Brandon Anderson (2030)
Khalief Canty Jr. (2030)
Just over an hour later, Missouri added former Auburn wideout Horatio Fields, making him the second reciever to transfer to Missouri in the 2026 portal cycle.
Fields caught 12 balls for 109 yards and one touchdown across four appearances with Auburn in 2025. His season was cut short with injury, leading him to swap to a different Tiger squad.
Before his 2025 stint at Auburn, Fields logged 39 receptions for 463 yards and four touchdowns in his 2024 season at Wake Forest.
Fields enters Missouri’s wideout room immediately competing for a starting job, projecting to play alongside freshman Donovan Olugbode and fellow transfer Caleb Goodie. Current freshmen Shaun Terry II and DaMarion Fowlkes, along with incoming freshmen Jabari Brady and Devyon Hill-Lomax, round out the room.
Here’s how Missouri’s 2026 starting offense projects: QB: Austin Simmons

WR: Caleb Goodie
WR: Horatio Fields
TE: Brett Norfleet
LT: Cayden Green
LG: Tristan Wilson / Logan Reichert
