Former North Carolina Tar Heels star Caleb Wilson is apparently working out with LeBron James before his rookie season.
The North Carolina Tar Heels' basketball program was only able to enjoy Caleb Wilson's presence for a chunk of his freshman season. Unfortunately, injuries derailed what had started off as a very special year from the young forward.
Wilson ended up playing in 24 games during his lone season with the Tar Heels. During those appearances, he dominated the court. Wilson averaged 19.8 points per game to go along with 9.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.4 blocks, while also shooting 57.8 percent from the floor.
His impressive freshman year ended up making him the No. 4 overall pick to the Chicago Bulls in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Now, the pressure is on Wilson to become a franchise player for the Bulls. Being selected in the top five comes with high expectations. However, all North Carolina fans know that Wilson is more than capable of living up to the hype.
Ahead of his rookie season in Chicago, an exciting update has been revealed about Wilson. It looks like he has been working out with longtime superstar LeBron James.

It didn't take long for Wilson to make an impact for the Bulls during NBA Summer League action. He ended up averaging 23.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 blocks, 1.8 assists, and a steal per game across four games. Wilson also shot 50 percent from the floor and knocked down 13 of his 31 attempts from beyond the three-point arc.
As Wilson navigates his rookie season, the Tar Heels' fan base will continue rooting him on. He may have only played at North Carolina for one year, but he was one of the most talented players to come through the program in years.
