The Tar Heel Roundtable Podcast Breaks Down Adjustments UNC Has Made at Guard, the Smith Center Debate Getting More Complicated, and Predicts Duke-Carolina.

UNC's Adjustments

The Tar Heels returned from a horrendous trip out west and is now on a four game winning streak going into the Duke game. A big piece of that is the adjustment Hubert Davis made at point guard and UNC's defense improving.

Belichick Snub

Bill Belichick will officially not be a first ballot Hall of Famer. It's a travesty that spygate and deflategate and the fact that Belichick is not overly liked by much of the NFL community led to him not being first ballot. And now, if those are the reasons for this one year wait, what does that mean for Tom Brady?

Why Gio Chose Wake Forest

Gio Lopez and Bryce Baker are both gone. In Gio's case, he entered the portal almost immediately after the Heels brought in Billy Edwards Jr. from Wisconsin. Wake Forest made the most sense for Gio and might be his best chance to bounce back from a not so great year at Carolina because he will now be reunited with his former OC at South Alabama, Rob Ezell, who is now the OC at Wake.

Smith Center Debate

A couple months ago it seemed like more than likely UNC would be relocating and building a new arena, however, three weeks ago Roy Williams put out a video expressing his desire for the Smith Center not to be moved and to just be renovated. That was then followed by several former players like Tyler Hansbrough, Theo Pinson, and others, backing what Roy said.

Here Comes Duke

Duke and UNC are both surging in their own way, but right now Duke has separated themselves from the rest of the ACC. Caleb Wilson vs. Cam Boozer will be must see. What will be the separator for either of these teams though? Will discusses that exact point and makes a prediction for the game.

In addition to the Tar Heels, Will Dalton also overs the Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Panthers, and Duke Blue Devils on Roundtable.  You can find Will on social media @thewilldalton to engage with him one on one.
