Tar Heel Roundtable Podcast: What Went Wrong For Chapel Bill? cover image

Tar Heel hosts dissect UNC's football collapse and basketball's first defeat.

The Tar Heel Roundtable Podcast Reacts To The End Of North Carolina's Football Season, Plus Carolina Basketball's First Loss Of The Year.

Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-hosts the Tar Heel Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week on the site. Here is what is in store on this week’s pod:

  • Smacked by the Wolfpack. Another week, another in-state opponent beating the Tar Heels. This time, NC State rolled to a 42-19 win over UNC at Carter-Finley Stadium on Saturday.
  • 2025 post-mortem. Now that the season is finished, Graham and Dalton went through what went wrong during Bill Belichick's 4-8 campaign. They also discussed how this year will be remembered years from now.
  • Searching for optimism. UNC's offseason will hit quickly when National Signing Day arrives on Wednesday. But the podcast digs into how many changes will be necessary — and whether those moves will be made — over the next month.
    • Thanksgiving loss. Tar Heel basketball dropped their first game of the season against Michigan State during last week's holiday. The double-digit defeat revealed some of the issues UNC got away with during its five-game homestand to open the season.
  • Big week ahead. On Tuesday night, No. 16 UNC will travel to Lexington face No. 18 Kentucky inside Rupp Arena. This is a spotlight game in the annual ACC-SEC Challenge. Following the blue-blooded showdown, the Tar Heels will return home to the Smith Center on Sunday afternoon to host the 5-2 Georgetown Hoyas.

In addition to the Tar Heel Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina.

Both have covered UNC football and basketball for multiple years. In the professional ranks, they will produce content focusing on the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets as well.

Roundtable would love to engage with you on the Tar Heels. Please comment on our posts and follow Graham (@JoshGrahamShow) and Dalton (@TheWillDalton) on X and Instagram.
