The Northwestern Wildcats did enough to make the postseason in 2025, finishing the regular season with a 6-6 record. 

They will now take on the Central Michigan Chippewas in the GameAbove Sports Bowl on Dec. 26. Central Michigan went 4-2 in its final six games. Head coach David Braun made a bowl game in 2023, beating Utah 14-7 in the Las Vegas Bowl.
