The 'Cats have been surprisingly quiet since the transfer portal officially opened, but don't expect that to continue. Plenty of players have yet to commit, and Northwestern needs a lot of them just to fill out the roster.

The rumor mill is starting to swirl around guys like Cornell's Jake Fiegen as well as Mount St. Mary's Luke McEldon. Both of those players are visiting or have visited NU's campus already.

The 'Cats need to add at least one on-ball guard, some wings with slashing ability, as well as multiple options in the post. Northwestern's roster last season lacked in big-man talent, and I'd bet Collins is hoping to avoid that above all else this offseason as he reconstructs his roster.
