Northwestern football has been around for quite some time. 

The 2026 season will be a special one for the program for a number of reasons, but one of the main ones is the opening of the new and improved Ryan Field. On Oct. 2, it will have been exactly 100 years since Northwestern's first football stadium opened in 1926. 

Northwestern will face Penn State.
