The 'Cats are bringing three-star class of 2027 recruit Amir Hogans out of New York. Northwestern will host the player listed as an "athlete" by industry standard recruiting sites as part of a larger group visit this upcoming weekend.
According to his X profile, Hogans is primarily a wide receiver, but he has the profile to play other positions at the next level if that's what makes the most sense. Northwestern hasn't always had players with that sort of flexibility.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 215 lbs, though, it does seem like Hogans could be a quite effective big wide out at the X spot. We'll learn more about how the Wildcats view him if he chooses to come here, and there's no better time to make the case for four years in Evanston than right now.
