I've seen a lot of "newcomer" pieces this offseason, but according to The Athletic, Northwestern's most intriguing newcomer is not a transfer, but offensive coordinator Chip Kelly.

According to The Athletic's Dane Brugler, former Northwestern defender Anto Saka is the No. 10 senior edge rusher prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft class. Saka transferred to Texas A&M this winter after earning his degree from NU.

I'm definitely going to miss seeing Saka line up for Northwestern this fall. Always thought he could be an NFL-caliber athlete, hoping he can put it all together for A&M.

The Athletic just updated their annual rankings of how much college football programs would be worth if they could be sold, and Northwestern's new football stadium appears to be a big reason why the "expected value" increased.

Last year, Northwestern was ranked No. 35 among Power Four schools with a hypothetical valuation of $406 million. Now, the program is down one spot to No. 36, but the estimated value has increased to $498 million.
