Ryan Field Looks Incredible, But One Feature Has Fans Divided

Ryan Field continues to generate excitement as Northwestern gets closer to its long-awaited home opener. From the modern design to the incredible attention to detail, it's easy to see why the new stadium has become such a major talking point for the program. It has already impressed recruits, media members and fans, and there's plenty of optimism surrounding Northwestern football heading into the 2026 season.

However, one feature has sparked debate among Wildcats fans: the student section will not have seats.

Some believe it will create a louder, more energetic atmosphere and help give Northwestern a true home-field advantage. Others feel students should at least have the option to sit during games.
