EA Sports' slogan of "It's in the Game" is fitting for Northwestern fans, as their new stadium is indeed included in the company's newest edition of its College Football series.
EA's College Football 27, is set for an early July release date, but major news on the game has already been revealed to the public.
New game modes, features and much more will be available in this third installment of the game series since their return from a over decade hiatus, starting with College Football 25.
One of those new additions? Northwestern's new Ryan Field.
Wildcat fans can get their first feel for how the new stadium will look, at least in virtual form.
Fans were quick to rave about the purple and white's new digs, generating some attention on different social media platforms.
"Yeah, that's my new dynasty team." One user on X wrote.
Speaking of Dynasty Mode, features such as NIL and athletic director goals will be in the game, letting players truly step into the shoes of David Braun, Mark Jackson or any college figure they may choose.
These screenshots were a breath of fresh air for the Cats, as they were not featured on the cover or in many release trailers.
What Big Ten schools did make the cover? For starters, Indiana's Curt Cignetti is the poster child, front and center with a typical Cignetti expression on display.

In College Football 26, Northwestern's temporary field was not included. EA Sports had the team still playing at the old edition of Ryan Field rather than making the makeshift stadium for just one year.
Now, the Wildcats are represented properly, and fans are eager to bring them out onto the virtual gridiron.
