The Big Ten has revealed the start time for Northwestern's Week 11 game against Ohio State, with the Wildcats and Buckeyes set to kickoff at 11 am on Nov. 14 at Ohio Stadium.

Both teams were just handed their second loss of the season by Big Ten opponents in Week 9, with Northwestern falling to unranked Oregon 34-26 and Ohio State suffering a 30-18 loss to USC. There is work to be done for both sides before the Week 11 clash, but it should prove to be a pivotal result for both teams still looking to hold on to a chance at the College Football Playoff.

Reports about the start time emerged earlier in the day on Monday, with Ohio State announcing it to social media around noon but later deleting the post. A team spokesperson for the Buckeyes said they were waiting for Big Ten confirmation, which finally came hours later.

The game will be aired on FOX with coverage from the Big Noon Kickoff crew likely to precede it from Columbus.

Northwestern's last matchup with Ohio State came in 2024 when the No. 2 Buckeyes dominated 31-7 at Wrigley Field. The two have played 82 times in their history, with OSU currently riding an 11-game winning streak in the series and winners of 35 of their last 36 meetings dating back to 1971.

Northwestern will enter Ohio Stadium fresh off of a massive game against No. 21 Iowa. The Wildcats opened as a slight favorite over the visiting Hawkeyes this weekend for a 6:30 PM kickoff at Ryan Field.

Ohio State's Week 10 opponent is Oregon, who will look to upset the Buckeyes one week after doing so to Northwestern. The unranked, three-loss Ducks team has the chance to play spoiler at Ohio State and effectively end their playoff hopes with a second conference loss and third overall.

The Buckeyes may also still be down Quarterback Julian Sayin when Northwestern comes to town. The junior QB is sidelined "indefinitely" per Ryan Day after suffering a shoulder injury in the team's win over Indiana on October 17th. The OSU offense was flat without him last Saturday after the Week 8 bye, and his status will be important to monitor for Northwestern as they eye the Week 11 matchup.

History points to Ohio State in this game, but the 2026 CFB season has already shown its ability to break trends. A big bounce back against Iowa will be the first step toward building momentum for the trip to Columbus.
