The Wildcats had 13 players on the 2027 Shriners Children's East-West Shrine Bowl Preseason 1,000 Watch List, highlighting the growing amount of NFL-caliber talent within David Braun's program.
Northwestern's representatives include Braydon Brus, Aidan Chiles, Brenden Deasfernandes, Robert Fitzgerald, Josh Fussell, Alex Honig, Michael Kilbane, Caleb Komolafe, Kobie McKinzie, Gavin Sawchuk, Grant Seagren, Braden Turner and Griffin Wilde.
The annual watch list recognizes approximately 1,000 of the nation's top draft-eligible college football players who are being evaluated as potential participants in the prestigious East-West Shrine Bowl, one of college football's premier postseason all-star games.
Throughout the season, the list is narrowed before more than 100 players receive invitations to the East-West Shrine Bowl, one of college football's premier NFL Draft showcases.
