While Wilde narrowly missed the publication's top 10, the recognition highlights the progress he has made after emerging as Northwestern's top receiving threat during the 2025 season.
Wilde established himself as one of the Wildcats' most reliable offensive playmakers, consistently creating separation, making contested catches and producing in key moments. His breakout season helped elevate Northwestern's passing attack and established him as one of the Big Ten's top returning receivers entering 2026.
Now, expectations are even higher.
Northwestern enters the 2026 season with significant changes on offense. Former NFL and college head coach Chip Kelly takes over as offensive coordinator, bringing one of the most respected offensive minds in football to Evanston.
